Parents' Place offers a wonderful variety of resources that contain materials on issues and topics relating to families. This includes a comprehensive Resource Lending Library and a Parenting Resource Guide.

Resource Lending Library

The Resource Lending Library houses over 2,000 books and videos for both parents and children. The Library grows continuously and many of the Parents' Place members take advantage of this excellent compilation of materials that covers topics from parent and child education and development, to entertaining children's books.

Parenting Resource Guide

The Parenting Resource Guide contains articles and tips for parents of children from birth to preschool. We would like to acknowledge the St. Albert Community Lottery Board, and the contributions of community partners and agencies that assisted in developing a resource tool that has been well-received in the community.

Parent Education Boards

The Parent Education boards were created as a way to reach parents while they attended to their busy schedules. The boards deal with topics and issues faced by parents and are available to community groups. Examples are “How to use Time Out”, “Separation Anxiety” and “The Golden rules of Discipline”. The boards include handouts and a resource list, which refers parents to books or courses for further information.
